How do I reduce my engorement it’s really painful and now it’s starting to hurt to put my babygirl near my breast and I can barely get her to latch on bc I’m so swollen
I don’t agree.. I was fully engorged could barely move fever chills everything.. and I pumped.. right after pumping I literally felt 50 times better!!
Warms rags, warm shower and hand expression. Do not use a pump unless you will keep up with pumping. Also the nipple shield is great but try not using everytime. It will have an effect on your milk production down the line. Getting the baby to latch onto the nipple is what really helps. It will take several weeks for your milk production to level itself out. The more you feed or pump the faster you will produce milk. The first several weeks a crucial for establishing a good supply. Also try nipple cream if it is hurting you. She will also eventually learn how to latch on everytime you put her to the breast. It just takes sometime.
@jellybeans_mumm, yea I realize that My best friend gifted me a nipple shield and I’m using it right now to feed so far bbg is able to drink more and not get frustrated with my nipple
It will be like that for a couple days ! they hurt so bad , but do not pump because it will engorge you more, you have to put baby to breast. Where a nipple Shield to help with the pain, it will go away within a couple of days .. I know the pain and I hated it my boobs looked so weird
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
@cambertaylor94, I give my breast and when she unlatched herself when she’s done I still feel engorged
