Hey Mama's do u have to get on birth control pills to get pregnant
@shaneengregory29, she means exactly what she said. Some women have irregular menstrual cycles, and taking birth control pills can help regulate it, therefore making it easier to track their ovulation when they are TTC.
I say this with respect, but I would honestly reach out to your obgyn to speak about fertility and pregnancy. You don’t seem to know too much about it, and it’s never too late to learn. You need to start tracking your ovulation with ovulation test strips, which I told you before on another post.
I had to read this post a couple times to make sure I wasn’t trippen ! Girl need to use google birth control pills help u not get prego
If you are on a 28 day cycle, then your period will start on a different day of each month, but it will always be 28 days after the start of your last period.
@shaneengregory29 What do you mean what do I mean? Over the last six months has your period come on the same day every month?
@shaneengregory29 Then you have an irregular cycle. BC could help but you should ask your DR first
@yayacarrington ok my period come on different days why that
Which post is it? Maybe we can help her get accurate info? Unless of course she's trying to regulate her cycle.
@mhbb3 so do I need to get BK on birth control pills to make my period irregular
Honey get on the internet and read about the menstrual cycle, read about the process of conception, read about the female reproductive system. Self education is soo important. We were not allowed to have sex ed in school. Even before my first period i took it upon myself to learn about my body.
@shaneengregory29 If your period comes at different times every month, the hormones in certain birth controls can make your period come regularly.
When it comes regularly, its easier to track your cycle, ergo know when to have sex, when your period is late, etc, etc

@sleepymommy my doctor didn't tell me nothing so thank for telling me
Maybe she was talking about using birth control to regulate the menstrual cycle. Women do this to make ovulation easier to pin point.
No, that makes no sense. Tell her if she is ttc, bc pills are the wrong way to go about that
@shaneengregory29 yes hun but your doctor should have explained all this too you and reading some of your other posts it doesn't seem like you know very much about fertility and getting pregnant
@sleepymommy I'm not on birth control a nother female on is
@shaneengregory29 I mean this with the most respect honey you need to do more research about fertility and birth control before having another child
@tipsymermaid I'm not on the pills I been off since April this year
I hope nobody who thinks that they need to be on birth control to get pregnant is trying to reproduce 🤦🏻♀️
@sleepymommy so wait until Dec that when he be one
@yayacarrington ok sme girl on here that on birth control pills right and she trying to get pregnant but she on the pills I told her I'm ttc too I told her I was on the pills she talking about get BK on if u trying to get pregnant
@shaneengregory29 so no you wouldn't take them to get pregnant. I ready you had a c section with your son it's also advised to wait a full 12 months before getting pregnant again.
Is this a serious question?
No, birth control is used to block a pregnancy from happening.
@sleepymommy that wht I'm was telling some one on here cause I got off of it April this year
Huh.? Birth control is to prevent pregnancy why would you take them if your trying to get pregant.?
❤️Getting to know you❤️
Since our May group is growing strong and we have a lot of new mommies joining and sharing their bfp's...Thought it will be fun to get to know each other as we all share our pregnancy journey!
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
GENDER POST! ??????
Alright mommas for everyone whose going to be finding out gender sometime in November or later..lets get a post going and keep each other updated. And for everyone who has already found out post below what you thought you were going to have and what you are actually having! ?
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
