I didn’t go to college for teaching. I never was taught how to “teach” a little one or anyone in general. I was scared to start this journey to be honest but in the end I felt it was what was best for Angel. For the last 3 years I’ve had to deal with family members saying I was making the wrong choice, a mistake, and overall limiting Angel. Some even made the comment she would have social problems. They never even gave me the chance nor put faith in me. However I strongly felt the need to challenge her even more then most public schools would. Nothing against kids who go to public school by no means, I mean I did.. I just knew I had the opportunity to homeschool Angel and could IF I disciplined myself too. I also felt a strong need to incorporate our faith in her learning, a daily thing at that which no public schools do (or so I’ve found). The time came fast. So fast I wasn’t prepared for it. Instead of stressing, I got online, ordered a few different books and started from there. It’s a learning process but now we have went through the P-K books and on to the kindergarten ones! One book is even first grade! Angel has learned a lot. She’s definitely a visual person! She loves to read! Loves writing and is learning memorization! So far that’s the tricky part! We are also learning mommy is her teacher and during “school times” she acts like I’m a teacher vs her mom. Tonight we started our very first sticker sheet! Not sure why we didn’t before but I’m still learning as well! 😉 Just wanted to show everyone how well she wrote her name WITH ZERO HELP!! Tracing hasn’t been hard for her but remembering the letters and putting them on paper has been tricky! She can also spell her name out loud with no help! Austin and I are definitely proud parents!
Good on you! 😁 what a proud moment for you. It looks like all your dedication is definitely paying off for her.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
