When did any mommy's sign up for a ped dentist? When is a good time for first dental apt?

Babies should go to the dentist 6 months after the eruption of their first tooth or at 1 year old.

My insurance says when they turn six months

Not sure what to do for teeth care for an infant. Don't want her teeth to rott but wasn't really coached on how to take care of infant teeth and gums. Have a gum brush that you put on your finger but unsure how to use it :/. Not much manual work or wiki how on taking care of infant teeth lol

Mine was still toothless at 6 months. Although i had already found her dentist. They scheduled her appointment after she turned 1 years old. She has an upcoming appointment 6 months from the last appointment we had.

My dr put fluoride on her teeth twice 6 months apart now in the nxt 6 months she’ll be seeing a dentist she’ll be two then. She was 9/10 months when she first got it done

I work in dental office . If child has no any visible problems ( like dark spots , not right growing teeth ) and brush his teeth every day I wouldn’t recommend to see dentist until 4-5 years old at all .
