I don't think its normal for my son to have gas pain all day everyday
@calebsmom122 I do have the bottles that lets the air out
@calebsmom122 thank you I'm gunna go get gripe water tonight
I switch to Dr. Brown's bottles and Gerber Soothe formula for gas, fussiness and excessive crying. I was desperate so I asked other mothers and they all told me about Gerber soothe. This work for my babies. I not trying to tell you to try this. I thought my baby was lactose intolerant too. I hope you find something that will help your baby .
MY son was fine drinking Enfamil in the hospital too. The gas didn't start until I got him home. I think it had to build up in his system. But when I switch the formula he stop crying all day and night. And he was a happier baby. I was getting Wic too, but I had to spend my money and get the brand that work better with his system. But I understand you have to get what you can.
@calebsmom122 and he wasn't like this at the hospital could he be lactose
@calebsmom122 I'm getting WIC so I can only get Enfamil or Similac
I had to switch formula. I fed my first baby Enfamil and he had gas all day and night. He never smile or anything. I switch the formula and I had a totally different happy baby. I only gave him Enfamil because that's what the hospital gave me and I didn't know better. And I was constantly at the doctor's office and they kept telling me it wasn't the formula. I just know I switch formula and life was much better. I also made sure I didn't give my second child Enfamil.
It very well may be the formula momma. I tried practically everything will my guy until we did soy and it was like a completely different baby.
Try probiotics. I think you can start them on it this early but I would ask doctor. I have been giving it to my babies for a few months now. It kinda helps
@leahkay hes on Enfamil and yeah I pace feed he has his month old appt in 2 weeks ill ask the doc I feel so bad bc theress only so much I can do
Have you tried pace feeding and burping multiple times? Also Google the "I love you baby tummy massage". I've used it on all my kids and it really helps get the gas out. It could be his formula also but if he's only 2 weeks it's hard telling. You don't want to switch too soon and cause even more issues.
@leahkay doctor said its normal but I don't think its out of control and I switched bottles that you push all the air out
@calebsmom122 celebrating my grandmas bday Sunday with the family and don't want him to be all fussy so I'm gunna break down and get some and see how that works for him then his month check up I'm gunna talk with the doc
