I used to say I’m on antibiotics for a sinus infection. It’s not contagious and people don’t ask anymore questions. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I told friends that when we started TTC I stopped drinking. So if you're comfortable sharing that much, it may also be a good route. But I'd also defer to being the DD and/or suggesting you have a mild stomach bug that you don't want to exacerbate.
