Help. Is it possible to have a diaper rash without the actual rash? My son has been walking wide legged and crying while grabbing at himself all day but when I checked him he doesn’t have any bumps or redness.. slight swelling but that it. I felt around and it seems to be his testies that’s hurting him so I applied some diaper rash cream but it isn’t seeming to help... anyone know what the problem could be.. should I take him to the doctor?

Poor baby! Their little testies are so sensitive!. Maybe a yeast infection? Does taking the diaper off and letting cool air seem to give him some relief? I seem to recall having this at one point too with my oldest. But unfortunately I don't remember anything about it :/
It could just be a little rash on his balls and it can be kinda hard to tell right there so I'd just keep him dry and cream on them. If it doesn't help in a couple days take him in because it could be a UTI.
My son had that once too! Seemed to be his little testes as well.... never figured it out but he was better by the end of the day
