I need some advice my son won’t sleep unless he is being held or laying on me only st night…

@bulmabreigh3, he knows how to roll over on his own and ends up on his belly all the time...so I don’t know if that’s it

@bulmabreigh3, he was doing it at 3 days old...I was in complete shock too! My husband said he did it and I didn’t believe him until I seen him do it during a diaper change lol

He is colicky most likely and probably wants to bond the most bonding babies get with their mom is in the first couple months. My son was very clingy I loved it but when I got tired i would put his rock n sleeper thing right next to my bed and I'd rock him with my hand and we would both fall asleep. Best things in the world to buy!

A swaddle sack

@letmegetagrip, he doesn’t really cry though or act in pain lol just always wants to be with me which I understand since he is breast fed and is so use to being with me and I have a rock n play and it even rocks itself lol

Are you swaddling him and using white noise

@alishap1212, can’t swaddle because he knows how to roll over but yes to the white noise lol

@shay2beautiful, yeah I’m having no luck with him being attached! I’m getting so little sleep and trying to take care of my toddler is next to impossible cuz I’m so tired and feel so bad 😭😭

I give you so many props, Mama!!! It might not be the best advice but get the blankets mostly off the sleeping area and cosleep fr a nap if needed.

What about a sidecar or bassist next to the bed? Then you could have your hand next to him.

@mrs.hibben, I pulled out the rock n play finally so going to see if that helps at all! Crossing my fingers I can swaddle, have him next to me, and he sleeps better’
