Walking does the trick more then anything .

I had sex all the time and I don’t think it did any good honestly lol but power walking I think caused more contractions!

@taymw11, I’m looking at her like I have sex a lot even two nights before I came to this appointment obviously that’s not doing anything. But I haven’t taken any walks yet so that’s definitely what I’m about to do today and so on.

Oh we did the do sometimes 3x a day near the end and nope notta XD I did take evening primrose oil starting at 36 and was dilated 4cm before I was induced

Yep walking stairs I was doing 10-20 flights a day and walking didnt work for me but I know it does for some and also circular rotation on a yoga ball might prompt your water to break

Did you get a sweep yet? That put me in labor I had it on a Tuesday and delivered her Thursday morning

@jordanrwilliams25, No I haven’t 😩 what usually makes them do a sweep on people? She didn’t bring anything like that up just yet all she did was check my cervix.

@khawkins when people are around or past their due date they can do a membrane sweep to separate the sac from the uterus/cervix .. it alot of times jump starts labor it did for me and many others I know .. they basically take their hand as a cervix check and sweep their hand across the sac to clean/ separate it .. something like that

It's a way of trying to avoid being induced at the hospital usually done first I think

Don’t b discouraged dilating really means nothing in terms of when labor will start. With my first I was dilated to 3 for weeks. With my second I was dilated to a 1 and I went into labor hours later.

@mimixtmn yes girl.. I was dilated to 3 cm since 32 weeks myself
