Hey girl I'm going through the same stuff except my bd was on parole and the police was called last year and the charges was dropped and now he locked up cuz he tested dirty but his family is blaming me and want nothing to do with my baby and he telling them the reason he locked up. Anyway hmu if u wanna talk cuz I'm going thru the same shit

Thanks ladies. It just bothers me that he’s telling people I lied and said he hit me. We both were in the wrong because the argument wouldn’t end. But of course it’s all my fault regardless what happened because I called the cops on a black man in 2018 😔

You are not in the wrong. There were a lot of occasions I should have called on my ex (before we had kids). I didn’t because “I loved him” and whatnot but truth is it’s better to document incidents like this. I wish I had a paper trail so if we ever go to court for custody or anything, there’s proof he’s unstable. I’m glad you’re safe and you stood up for yourself.

Yeah, I've been there. You just need to reaffirm that his behavior was not okay and agree that the police should never have been involved and they wouldn't have, had everything been peaceful and handled in a mature way.
