Leap frogs are great! I agree they are great for learning, problem is people rely on them as a babysitter for their kids. As long as it's monitored and there is a set time and limit of screen time a day, their should be no problem. Just be firm with the limiting. That's just my opinion though, each to their own.

We got a leap pad for our son for christmas a couple years back. I love it he really enjoys it. Its just like anything limiting the screen time. Winter months are coming which means less time outside. I would rather my kiddo be on a leap pad than watching tv. Its proven to be a very sturdy device too! Worth it.

@mamagunn.no.1, yea I was thinking maybe for car rides or if I need to get some homework done, let her play on that for about 30 minutes and that’s it.

My boys have a tablet and honestly they have learn so much from it. I do control the amout of time they use it.

I got my son one as soon as he turned one I was also skeptical , but they do learn a lot from it believe it or not , he is advanced for his age , I would just limit the screen time once you do get it if you decide to , you can by a kids tablet off amazon for 30 bucks has games and stories on it and all kid friendly ..

@lifewithlynnieandwill88, yea I have a tv in my car, but she refuses to wear the headphones (they’re also too big for her little head) but I am soooo sick of listening to movies all the time. Maybe I could get my radio back! 😂
