How do I know if I’m leaking amniotic fluid by smell or what

@babymamaof2 go in ASAP bc when I got induced they broke my water at 5cm I labored for to long ended up getting an infection the other girls are right once your water is broken risk of infection is high my baby had to stay in the NICU for 4 days. There were other reasons but that was one of them just added on from him getting stuck and lost oxygen because of it.

@babymamaof2 your water might have broke or your leaking fluid I would deff go in

@babymamaof2, if your leaking, baby has to come out 24 hours after it started, so 7:45am for you, or risk infection for both of you.

@babymamaof2, you should definitely go get checked. I leaked like that and was told the risk of infection gets higher the longer you wait. Don’t risk yours or your baby’s health because you’re unsure. It’s so not worth it.

@mswedes, I’ve feeling a small gush since this morning around 7:45am just felt like I peed myself a little but it continued all day until I came home from dinner and I completely emptied my bladder again for like the 8th time today and when I finished I still was leaking after I already wiped twice

You have to go in and have it swabbed, and they can tell you.

If you’re even partially questioning it, go to l&d and have them test you.
