It can take time every child develops differently. It’s never too early to start speech therapy if you feel it can help talk to your pediatrician see if you can get a. Referral. I waited it out with my second thinking he is just little he will talk eventually but eventually never came he was almost 4 and still couldn’t be understood. I think if I got him in speech sooner he would understand school better than he is now.

All kids learn at their own pace. My son didn’t start walking until a few months after his first birthday.
