@nina.gatechair my sons speech therapist actually told me about it. But there are so many different symptoms for all different kids.

And when shes in a situation like a public place or something new she cups her ears

My kid often cups her ears when she thinks a noise will happen or just randomly when i brush her teeth without telling her every step i do she freaks out and her emotions have been weird lately as she will get upset randomly and theres some focussing and listening issues more so then a normal 4 yr olds also when she has an eruption of emotions over something she does a weird arm shake thing like light flailing
