Does anyone have any advice or experience of this.....went for a sweep today at 40+1....midwife couldn’t reach cervix as it was too high and said it was unfavourable. I was supposed to go back for another sweep on Thursday but she said there’s not much point as she couldn’t reach it at all. Im aiming for a VBAC but she encouraged an ELCS instead so called the consultant who will book me in next Monday. Just wondering what my chances are of going naturally within the next 7 days or do I resign myself to another c section??

I delivered my little one at 39 weeks after so many bloody sweeps. But it was vbac!! You got this! Stay positive. Lots of walking and bouncing. Ask them also if it's possible that they can break your waters. That's what they did with me as I was determined to have him naturally. Raspberry leaf tea aswell helps the cervix soften xxx

So much can happen in 24 hours let alone 7 days. Normal gestation is up to 42 weeks aswell so babies probably not ready yet. You've totally got this, just listen to your body x fingers crossed for successful VBAC 🤞

Trying to stay positive but feel really disheartened and upset. Haven’t stopped crying since I left the hospital xx

on the 6th October I did 2 test with 2 lines , 3rd test was clear blue digital and was positive 2-3 weeks I was waiting for a month for a midwife appointment.. so yesterday I started bleeding went today for a scan and they go to me no sac .. but can see a cyst or a sac outside the womb so therefore she did another test there and it was negative .. she said if it was positive it would have been ectopic pregnancy but because it was negative she said it's miscarriage.

Eeek went to the dr and I am almost a 1... never really dialated early with the other two... so I got a little excited. She said the baby is measuring at around 38 weeks 😱so when I go next week I am going to ask about inducing.
So sweep went really well, I'm already 2cm dialated. Cervix is short and soft and doing what it's supposed to be doing. Have another sweep booked for next Friday but midwife has said she will be surprised if I make it to then. And little man is 3/5 engaged. Really hope this sweep makes a difference. But we'll see. It's been less than an hour 😂😂
tmi i need ur opinions pik in comments! the dr said i was bleeding yesterday after she check for dialation im only 36weeks 4cm. Is this a sign for me to go to the hospital?
Well my Dr had to go do a c section right after she was done with me so she said next week she will do another ultrasound to check the babys weight and length since she didn't have time today. I'm dilated half a cm and they did the strep b test! She said shes just going to keep an eye on my blood pressure. I go back next Friday! It's getting close!
