What type of car seat do I need to buy for a newborn? I know there's specific ones for the different ages I just don't know which one I need to start out with #newmamaproblems

You can get an infant seat which will detach and you can carry it around. Or there are convertible car seats which do not come out to carry around. They are able to be used longer since they have higher height/weight limits than infant seats. As long as it’s rear facing and your baby is within the weight/height range, you can use whatever kind of seat you prefer. I used an infant seat for my first child and a convertible seat with my second. I personally prefer the convertible seat.
We bought an infant seat. I liked the convenience of getting my son in & out of the car while keeping him in his seat & not waking him. Some people start off buying a convertible seat & like those too. It’s all about your preference and budget.
