@ladyfreyja I know thats why I steam everything except the sweet potato and squash because it takes to long to steam them 😂😂 but I do use the water for them and it's probably just the picture it comes out orange not as bright as the carrot and squash just a darker orange
@kay7 Just so you know you keep more of the nutrients in the food if you only steam and bake/roast. I just read that you use the left over water so that's good. And I have a question, how come when I make my sweat potato baby puree it's really orange and not yellow like yours? It just might be the color from the picture/phone but they all look yellow lol
@mommabear2018 honestly I have only done this for the last 3 weeks so I haven't been mixing foods but food I make it enough for about two weeks I steam the veggies (carrots,green beans,peas,etc) except the sweet potato and squash I boil but when I blend it I use the same water I used to boil so the food doesn't loose the nutritions and I freeze one week and refrigerate the other and the fruits steamed I make it only enough every two days it's my preference because I feel like it fresher like that 😂😂😂
