This is my son Walter. Today is his birthday. He would have been five. This picture was taken when he was 16 days old. He was my first child and my only son (I now have 3 girls). He passed away the next day after this picture from congenital heart failure. It was a miracle that he lived passed 12 weeks gestation because of how severe his heart defects were. son getting out of car seat

So a couple days ago my son started getting himself out of his car seat while we are on the road. He will be 2 years old May 27th. He pushes the chest clip all the way down and pulls his arms and shoulders out of the straps but is still buckled at the waist. Today he did it 4 times, we had to pull over every time. So I got rid of my spacious Chevy Impala and now have a compact Hyundai Elantra. I’m trying to figure out which car seat would fit best in a smaller car.?? The car seat will go behind the passenger so there will be a little more room to move the front seat up.

What would you do? I feel so stupidly selfish if I choose to be induced because I want my boy to come when he is ready, but I am also feeling selfish stressing him out because everything going on and how stressed I am. So do I continue to stress him out or do I get induced and deal with this and let him be? Or will he be okay? I've been up all night contracting on and off but could it be from my nerves?
