Spotting bright red but it’s not much. Should I be worried?

Bloody show possible I don’t care what the dr said for peace of mind get checked out

@spookylyn, Unless it’s mixed with mucus plug it would warrant a visit to your doctor or L&D

Bright red likely means you’re dilating. Any contractions? Back pain? Etc?

I would definitely get checked out especially if you are far along in your pregnancy.

Bright red spotting unless it seemed part mucus too would make me uneasy this late in pregnancy.

@sam.momx5 yeah same ive had 2 sweeps and no spotting.. But bleeding bright red would scare me even tho they said it's normal

@jenny955, no membrane sweep or sex. Got cervix checked Tuesday but no spotting or anything afterwards.

Did they sweep your membranes recently?

@spookylyn, just called l&d and they said if it’s not heavy like a period then it’s normal. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Call your doctor

Sounds like your cervix is dilating. But then again I’m not a doc so it wouldn’t hurt to call your OB
