Breastfeeding issues.
Help! All of a sudden my son is being a little jerk and we are having a rough time breastfeeding. I feel awful because I don’t know what to do. He is super fussy and just wants to eat more than usual. But when I get him on my breast and even while trying to get him to latch he pushes away/off me. Like takes his arms and pushes. Or will unlatch and get mad. So I have to keep putting him back on. This doesn’t happen every feeding but it’s getting frustrating and he is super fussy. Idk what else to do. I feel like I’m producing enough and we may just be cluster feeding. But tonight no matter what I did he was pissed off for an hour or so. So I gave up and had my mom feed him a small sample bottle of formula we had. And he has been passed out sleeping ever since and I just woke up him to feed before laying him down for the night until he wakes to feed again. Any help would be great! Thank you.

1) try nursing before he becomes fussy
2) skin 2 skin
3) different positions, try side lying or laid back
4) try feeding in a wrap or carrier

I don’t have much advice other than to say I remember it happening around the same time with my daughter! I felt so helpless. I looked up The Wonder Weeks at others suggestions. It was interesting!

When he’s latching and pushing off your probably having a fast let down for him, or he’s not sucking out as fast as he would a bottle .. try a nipple shield, try swaddling and different positions .. good luck ❤️

@jellybeans_mumm, I know I had a fast let down with my daughter. She wasn’t able to handle it. So far he has been able to handle it. But I’m curious if since he is now going s little longer between feedings if it’s a little much for him now. I never thought about it being my letdown
