Has anyone been induced due to gestational hypertension? And how far along were you?

I was with my first, I was 39 weeks though so it wasn’t super early.

My blood pressure is always high every time I go in. The highest the top has been is 167 and the highest the bottom number has been is 100. At my NST today it was 150/99 and they said I’m still preterm so they want to keep baby in. I’ve already got the steroid shots for his lungs at 34 weeks 🤦🏼‍♀️

I did it with my first.. 38 weeks. My blood pressure spiked to 180/I can’t remember. I’m being induced tomorrow at exactly 40 weeks bc my blood pressure has been being wonky and she’s scared it’ll spike again

I was but I was already 40 +1. NST and everything came up normal but they saw no reason to wait since I was already past due

Have you been doing NST?

I was put on bedrest right before hitting 35 weeks. They were going to induce a few days after 38 weeks but my water broke day shy of 38 weeks.

@newmommyy, do you happen to know why they did it? Did her bp get too high?

My cousin was and she was 34 weeks
