Can you mommas give me some ideas on what to feed my almost 11 month old? She just recently started refusing jarred food. We feed her the gerber crunchies, yogurt, apple sauce, fruits, and steamed veggies. I just need ideas. I know I would like to try tofu. Also she’s allergic to avocado
Honestly I feed my daughter "normal" food and have been for several months. What things does she like? What have you tried? My daughter eats mac n cheese, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, apple sauce, grapes, cheetos, green beans, carrots and more.
@cit0.bunni, yesss! I bought their frozen veggie steam bags because they have little to no salt! She loves those and they’re easy.
Birds Eye brand makes some really good veggie pasta!! Just pop in the microwave!
@princessrose, I love cooking, but it is tough to find time sometimes. Some weeks I’ll do a big meal prep on Sunday and make her meals for the whole week so I just have to throw it in the microwave. And I always keep frozen veggies, Annies mac and cheese, etc so I can throw something together really quick in a pinch.
@princessrose haha!! Doesn't take too long!! The scrambled eggs are super quick and you can always use frozen pancakes!!
@mommytok, I want to feed my daughter better, and a lot of times my husband and I eat frozen meals. 🤭 but maybe this is an excuse for a home cooked meal! ☺️ thank you
Anything you eat! Some of my daughters favorites are meatballs, strawberries, eggs, muffins, yogurt, carrots. But she really eats whatever we are eating with snacks in between. I know it’s kind of scary at first, but just start with softer stuff and let her practice!
@cit0.bunni, now here’s the question, how do you find time to make it?? 😂😂 thank you 💖
@maddiesmommy16, how small did you cut things up? She use to gag on the puffs (not recently) and I just have a huge fear of it happening again.
Along with the above suggestions my daughter enjoyed scrambled eggs and pancakes!!
My daughter did BLW so she started eating what we ate at 6 month old. We started with strips of food but at 8 months old she was eating bite size pieces. I would start with pinky size pieces until you see how she does and if she does great you can cut them a little bigger. Remember gagging is normal it means they are doing what they are suppose to do to not choke 🙂
