Those of you who have had back labor what does it feel like when it first starts?

Period cramps

It f**king hurts. Basically feels like a backache. Sometimes sharp feeling. Mine was a deep dull ache. And nothing made me comfortable except for a warm bath.

Made me want to poo

@hah890 more constant fort me. I was having tightening belly contractions at the same time.

@hah890, depends on the baby’s position. If the little baby is moving kicking around and stuff it might come and go but if it’s not moving and sleeping it could be constant.

Feels like the pain in shooting through you butt it feels totally different from regular contractions the more intense they get feels like you can't sit on your butt at all and your back feels like it's gonna break

Like hell on earth

My water broke 3-4 days before my son came, and once he finally dropped my lower back and butt hurt so badly. It was a pain that didn’t let up and the epidural didn’t help anymore. But I believe it was so intense bc the nurses made me hold him in once I could push it was easier

I was shaking badly, my bf even was like I watched this girl completely destroyed her collarbone and walk away.. she’s in f****** pain lol it was pretty damn bad

To me it felt like the back pain I get before my period

Back labor is the worst labor ever I had it with both of my kids. Firsr it starts out as regular backache very mild but as labor progress every contraction that you get you will feel it in youe back as well and trust me you will know your in labor!

@hah890 sounds like back labor to me

@hah890 well you should time them and you might be in early labor if it has been getting worse. Any other symptoms?

@williamsl.miesha, I can't really time them because the pain feels pretty constant just gets worse at times is that normal for back labor?

@ambrebby2u, I did have pressure I felt like I had to go number 2 but that went away now it's just lower back pain again

@hah890 are they getting more intense with this last one I had pressure and it stopped but my back felt like it was about to break so I finally went In and I was 8.5cm

Yes girl omg it hurts but I could handle it I was getting it rubbed the whole time An I asked for a ball to bounce on at the hospital
