Waking up every night with Charlie horses in my calves. What could be causing this? I did not experience this with my other two pregnancies. It’s awful! Have an appt on thurs and going to bring it up with my OB but, has anyone else experienced this during pregnancy?
Agreed with the above. Magnesium changed my pregnancy life lol. I used to wake up crying with cramps. Water helped but even when I was totally hydrated I still had that issue. I take 400 mg daily and haven't had a cramp since my 2nd trimester
Thanks @mortonmining, I love tea so, I will definitely check it out.
If u take 500 Mg of magnesium it will stop. That's what Hospitals use to calm contractions. It soothes muscles.
@mortonmining, thank you so much!! I’m gonna get it today and try it out I definitely need it!
@mlmspm hope you find something that helps! Charlie horses are the worst!
Thanks everyone! Glad to know I’m not alone in this. I eat a banana every morning already and I drink tons of water so, still not sure what else to do. Maybe I’ll try more calcium @countrymusic_mama, I’m lactose intolerant so, it’s definitely possible I’m not getting enough of that. Thanks!
I wake up crying in the middle of the night with them it’s actually the worst feeling ever it’s like I’m paralyzed and massaging it while it’s going on makes it hurt even more😭😭😭
I'd get those every time I tried stretching my legs a certain way it was awful
Agree with everyone try bananas for potassium but ask about taking extra calcium. From what my dr told me Charlie horses are usually caused by a lack of calcium. And stay hydrated!
I’ve had them with both my pregnancies. Bananas definitely help!
Happened to me also only with my last son the day I turned 30 wks was daily :/.. stretch your toes the sec you feel it happening (would wake me outta my sleep)
Eat a banana daily. The potassium will take care of it & keep em at bay.
I got it with both, it’s from you being on your legs all day with all the weight of yours & the baby. I hated them so bad, I would try to massage them out really fast.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
And also. I take spring valley calcium zing and magnesium. Its one pill. And I think the calcium helps a lot as well
