I would love to have a baby shower especially since i didnt have on for lil man . But i have no one to invite to it…

Do an online shower. People get to buy you things online. I had a friend do that since her family was far away in return she did a raffle everyone who sent her a present was entered.

Nobody is going to mine. 💁🏻‍♀️ maybe just family. 5 people total (if that, one literally just cancelled). I just told people at work about my online registration but honestly I really don’t expect anyone to buy anything. It’s really just a list for myself.

Honestly showers are really just about celebrating and receiving gifts from friends, it’s all over rated. I wouldn’t worry about it that much.

If you care to have one, you could always just make it a dinner to celebrate the arrival of a new family member with your parents in law and parents now.

But if nobody wants to join in the celebration then it’s their loss.

@elijahsmom, yeah, if anything I’ll have to have a few get togethers for myself. Some people would rather go to lunch then a party, others have weekend schedules so I have to meet them after work.

That’s kinda why “showers” are over rated this day and age.
