So I have a question I know I should call first but my husband is getting deployed in February (his second deployment 😭)it should be around tax time do I file for him since he won’t be here or do I wait
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Just file as if you were him. I always do our taxes even when my husband is here and he is the only one that works lol

@jmedina, thank you I had actually asked this question on a mom group on Facebook and they ended up deleting my post about it cause two people got into a name calling fight

If you’re married then you’ll be filing jointly anyway, so it really doesn’t matter who fills out the return and submits it.

My husband works and I don't. He has to sign his part and I sign mine. They won't let me sign his name. Might be a question to ask a tax person

Since I do mine online i just virtually sign for him. If it's in person I do not know. May need a power of attorney which I suggest for deployments anyways.
