my daughters looked like that and no matter what i did it wouldn't go away. took her to doctor it was a yeast rash. definitely take him in and they'll prescribe yeast medicine and it will go away
@momma2jdm16, most all wipes now days have alcohol 😨 that's super bad for any baby's bottom especially with a rash. I use cloth wipes as well I recommend getting a spray bottle and wetting the wipe with water only to clean him u might add a tiny bit of coconut oil if he poops just so the wipe slides against his but especially bc it looks so raw. I would see a dr as well bc as the other lady said some things could do more harm than good especially if he is sensitive
@txyogagirl, it came along when I started using huggies wipes so I got ride of those and went to pampers and it started going away. then out of nowhere it started coming back and worse then It was before. the only time he goes a while without a change is at night and that is because he sleeps through the night but I make sure he goes to bed on a full tummy and a dry diaper
😫😫😣😣😣😢😢😢😢😦😦 you have to Wash him with zetaphil, put him dermocream it's especially aproved by dermatologist, please do not put anything else because it can be more worst and change the diapers every time he poop, and every time wash him and put a lot of cream, dermocream they sell it on Walmart
How long has he had it? My son once had a bad rash that lasted a little over a week and wouldn't go away and began to blister and bleed...a lot of things didn't help...I used a cream called "gelmicin" it works like magic! Within hours saw a difference and kid u not was practically gone the next day
O goodness maybe he is just extra sensitive. @momma2jdm16 I try to change my son each time he pees or poops as well but if not I check him about every 2.5 hr but ur son with that rash really needs no diapers at this point. Do u live in a cold place if so crank up the heater so he can be warm and let him be naked or just in a shirt. Have u considered cloth diapers u really don't ever have to worry about a rash of u use a natural fabric and ur son is not allergic but if u change him lots now and he is that bad in a disposable I would for sure do something different
When my son gets like that it's usually an allergic reaction. Has baby had anything new? Diaper rash cream will dry it out... if it feels dry already, put either aquaphor healing ointment or Vaseline on it & use a wet washcloth to wipe instead of wipes for a couple days
Any fever but I'd air out and do desitin and powder at the same time every time you change and let him air out between charges and change every two hours if you breastfeed you can put breast milk on it and let it air dry before putting diaper on if nothing works you need to go to dr
If that doesn't work, definitely take him to the doctor. Sometimes they can prescribe something. My son used to get a lot of rashes when he was little. We tried everything. We ended up having to get a prescription & it seemed to stop the rashes.
Let his bottom air out don't put a diaper I know that can be hard but lay him on a waterproof pad with nothing on his butt as much as possible. U can get a flour sack towel it's super thin like Guaze and drop over him to cover his tt since he might pee everywhere. I use cloth diaper and my son has never had a rash but I try to at least one a day let him be butt naked for 20min or so just so everything can breath. I hear cornstarch works and that's what I will use if he ever get a rash but I have never had to he is only 11weeks
