So mamas I need advice. We take our son to the gym with us and they watch him in their kid care. Well this will be the third time that we’ve gotten called in there to get him because he’s supposedly doing something we’ve never seen or heard of him doing. When I went in there, the girl was holding him, he was in tears and so happy to see me and wanted me to pick him up. I told her I wanted to see him doing what he was supposedly doing. He went on to play with a toy nicely so I told him to come to me, picked him up and signed him out. While my man was still working out, I walked straight up to the general manager and told him I wanted to speak with him in his office. We reviewed the cameras together and my son was IN FACT not doing anything wrong but playing and she grabbed him by his arm for NO REASON and slammed him on the ground and he was on the ground for a good minute before getting back up. Right then and there was when we were called to come get him because he was supposedly throwing heavy toys at kids (which he never does). The manager apologized and then told us he would talk to her... what should we do?

I'd like to know what gym this was. My best friend called me a couple of weeks ago with pretty much the exact same story from an L.A. Fitness in South Florida.

I would definitely file a police report. If that had been my child, they probably would have called the police on me - I would have gone crazy and caused a HUGE scene. The fact that the manager just said he would talk to her is ridiculous. I would have demanded she come in there and review the tapes with us and explain herself. She should have been fired.
I wouldn’t have left the place until the cops arrived to view the tapes so I could press charges & have her arrested.
And if for some reason she wasn’t arrested, I’d be outside waiting on her to leave. Put hands on mine, imma put my hands on you.
I don’t understand why the police weren’t called immediately if that’s what you saw
Wowww I’m so sorry that happened to your poor baby. And I’m furious for you right now. I would probably contact a lawyer and law enforcement. I’d be pressing charges. That’s horrible & she needs to be held accountable more than just getting “talked to” by her manager.

I would definitely be involving the cops!! She is doing it to your child think of all the other kids/infants she is doing it too.. I would definitely get ahold of them tapes before they accidentally disappear and their covering there asses

It sounds like the manager was helpful and receptive to your concerns. I wouldn’t jump straight to suing them as a PP suggested, but she did have other good recommendations: file a police report on the childcare employee for sure!
Make sure she no longer works there!! That’s ridiculous. I’d be so mad. You deserve more then an apology
