so, if anyone remembers the guy I mentioned last week, here's an update. I met with my counselor and talked it out with her (She knows more about what's going on with me than ANYONE. so I wanted her input.) She says I should go for it. I have a good head on and can acknowledge everything between me and him. I know what I want and whatnot. I don't HAVE TO bring my kids into the dating portion until it gets serious enough to introduce them. she read some stuff between me and him & told me about what he probably means and that I did great at expressing myself to him. (this meeting was on Monday.)
well, anyway..
I replied to him on Saturday. he, since then, has left me on seen. no replies or anything from him. she has said to give him a few days and if he doesn't reply, then oh well. he must not have been as serious as he seemed. I don't personally feel like he is. the day after I last posted about him, he stopped replying after acting normal and posted on fb about "finding someone to build with that won't waste his time." I took that personally.. I just didn't want to jump into something without thinking it through some. ya know? so, yeah. that's what happened there..

@kambam last time he didn't reply to me for over a week or so he said he was having "commanding voices telling him to end it all" so he was in the mental hospital for a week. I don't believe it, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt there because that's his thing.

@kambam I thought so too. so I was iffy about him pushing it to force himself to something that might make him happy, but that's not how it works. I don't want to rush because I don't want to cling to someone like I have before. last time I actually dated someone, it was my BD. lol. before that, everyone was basically a cyber boyfriend since we never saw each other in person unless we were friends in that time. being a female teenager with very little friends and no parents that'll take you to your friends when you ask, made it hard to do. lol. I was a weird kid. 🙃

@kambam exactly. before it was "wanna be my girlfriend?" "yeah!" now, it's so complicated and I don't know how to express myself to others without being so awkward.
