It can be suprising what ur kid likes. My son loves him some prune (puree)

Pears, raspberries, avocado, shredded cheese. The last 3 I gave my daughter early because they were soft enough she could try them and have fun making a mess and eating them. Cheese was by far her favorite and still is lol. Maybe you can start trying some things that aren’t puréed if you think he would be interested and ready. I started looking into baby led weaning and I wish I would have done that with my daughter. We just kind of winged it lol. But she was sooooo interested in table food and didn’t care much for baby food.

@elijahsmom, my daughter was always and still a fan of Colby Jack. When she was smaller I would also buy the finely shredded as well. No joke that was her first real solid food she actually ate. And she ate it all the time. Still has cheese everyday to this day. She goes nuts over it.

Also have you tried the baby yogurt? They have some at Walmart. I can’t exactly remember the name but it’s the smallest little yogurt cups.

I just suggest these because it worked for my daughter. She was always so hungry and just so interested in our food and didn’t care for baby food. And to this day this kid is not a picky eater at all. She will give anything a try. And from around 3.5-4 months I had given her a spoon. They had these really small ones that are flat that let baby try and learn to feed themselves and she wasn’t good at it but got it every meal. She was able to then use a kids spoon and fork to feed herself before she was 1. Which helps so much having this baby now. She is Independant at meal times.
