Hi ladies. Today I went back for another ultrasound and we finally seen a baby. Turns out I am earlier than doctors thought. I got called in with a emergency request for a ultrasound due to failing hcg levels. I only measured 6w3d and doctor wants me to schedule a dc due to not seeing a heartbeat, but I cannot go through with it. I have no signs of a miscarriage, no pains, spotting or anything, so he’s pretty pissed because we won’t do it and prefer to miscarriage naturally if that’s the case. But we feel that it is to early to see a heartbeat and go back in a week for another follow up. I’m praying it’s just really early and my baby heartbeat shows up. Anybody have a similar experience? I’m reading a lot of post saying they have healthy baby and it was just really early for the heart beat to show

@owenjacesmama, I’m just curious did you seek another doctor or wait it out .
I had a heartbeat at 6 weeks and 1 day but everybody is different I say wait till 8 weeks and look for any signs for MC
@sashagraham98 trust your body. I would wait. I couldn't see my son's until like 8-9 weeks. It maybe too early. Your body knows best
Heartbeat is normally visible by ultrasound at 6 weeks. I would ask to have another scan in a week and go from there.
@baby_stepz1618, I’m sorry to hear this but I don’t think I am doing a d&c until I start bleeding or something. I can’t stand the thought of taking a life that could be a error in lab work or something which I have read that happens to
@carliejo13, I’m sorry to hear that. My levels were increasing slowly they never doubled and now the doctor is just saying a d&c
@owenjacesmama, I’ve been reading and some people are saying they haven’t gotten heartbeat until 13 weeks. I’m just so skeptic about doing it bc I’m having absolutely no symptoms of a miscarriage but all the pregnancy symptoms.
I almost had a d&c because they said my baby had no heartbeat. That "no heartbeat" is now 2
@sashagraham98 I was in South Korea, that was my only doctor so I waited it out & went back a few weeks later and they found a heartbeat they said they mistaken and I was probably only around 3 weeks
