Wow! I just saw it on the news this morning. They are still legal here and still being sold but hopefully they wont be soon. I used one with my son when he was an infant. Apparently they do more harm tjen good.

The activity centers too? Or just the walkers? Cause I was literally about to invest in this for my son. He’s almost about ready to be able to sit in one in a month or so 🙈

But I don’t understand some of the injuries they talk about. A baby drowning and others falling down stairs?! Like how TF does that happen?

@masseymomma16 omg, stuff like that happens for the parents being negligent. Not because of the walker.

@rikki., exactly! The only thing negative is they say it can delay their walking and it’s simply overall not beneficial. And how exactly can they tell the delay is from the walker and not just the baby alone??? But to ban it seems a bit extreme!

@masseymomma16 I think if babies are getting injured or drowning while in them then the parents should be prosecuted.

You have a good point on how are they to know if it's from the walker? Only negative thing I had ever heard about walkers till now were that they can flip over. My daughter used one though and she loved it for a couple months.

It's the wheeled ones that are banned in some places. As with everything, parental supervision is necessary.
