So I called the pharmacy and they told me my new nausea medicine cost $394 ..... they can keep it 😂
Preggie pops are at target, I got some last night and they’ve been kind of working @lauranbobby12,
NAUSEA, this is what it says for pregnant women on my obgyns website.
Try eating something dry upon awakening such as toast or crackers. Instead of eating three large meals, try eating six smaller meals spaced evenly throughout the day. Eat your meals dry and wait 45 minutes before drinking fluids. If you feel that your nausea is getting worse, try taking one Unisom tablet with one tablet of vitamin B6 (50 milligrams) twice daily for two days. If there is no improvement, this can be increased to three times a day for 2-3 days. You may even increase to four times a day if needed. You may remain on this indefinitely. Other remedies for nausea include Emetrol, Ginger (in the form of tea, root powder, capsules, or extract up to 1,000mg/day), Accupuncture, Accupressure wrist bands (Sea Bands), and B-Natals or Pregger Pops (available at Babies R Us).. If you feel your nausea is out of control, call the office.
I use acid reducer and it works, and the pharmacist i asked swore upon it for pregnant women and he’s been at the pharmacy I went to for a long time.
Ask for reglan, Your insurance should cover it. I had morning sickness until I was 5 months and that’s the only thing that worked for me
@lauranbobby12, I live in Michigan so try Publix I know that’s in Florida
If they prescribed diclegis it doesn’t have a generic but you can get the ingredients over the counter... it’s unisom (not the one with diphenhydramine but the other one) and vitamin B6. It worked amazing for me!
My ob prescribed zofran but it wasn’t working so that why she prescribed the bonjesta . And I’m only 8 weeks so I’m not sure what I’m having yet lol but I will definitely let you know if I find something! @lauranbobby12,
@tianadavis216 what kinda store is that like. I live in Florida n have never heard of that?
@nfalu001 my ob don't like to prescribe nothing. But I got zofran from the er, N my ins paid for it. I hope u get relief somewhere quick. I suffer from nausea my whole pregnancy. 1momth left. N I feel like I'm back in trimester 1. No joke. If u find something that helps plz get back with me. I'd love to know. P.s. u having a girl?
Bonjesta , I believe it was. They said it’s a newer medication so I figured that’s why it was so expensive @beakymcspence,
@nfalu001, What is the medication? Often pharmacies will prescribe the name brand when generic is equally as efficient but cheaper.
@nfalu001, that sucks, I’m sorry. Drinking Powerade helped me some, because it has B6 in it.
I tried to call but they were close because of the hurricane, and won’t be back open until Monday @penelope127
@nfalu001 nice ty. Can't wait to ck target in my area for sum💕
