When you've both worked all day, who cooks and cleans up?
We share everything and the kids all pull their own weight in chores, even my 4 year old... I'm a sahm but we all live here and contribute, and I am not the maid. My husband does most of the cooking because he enjoys it and is amazing at it... But the cook doesn't clean the kitchen is also a general rule... if the house gets to where I feel overwhelmed, we set a kitchen timer for 5-10-or 15 minutes and we all have a tidy session. You'd be surprised how much we can get done together in such a short period of time.
It depends! I mostly cook and clean but I work from home and he doesn’t. I generally cook on days he works and he really loves cooking so he does on his days off. If I cook he cleans, if he cooks I clean, but sometimes one of us will just feel extra nice and do it all. We don’t have much of a set schedule.
Lol. When I worked we all cleaned and cooked. Or I’d be one mean lady.
Being a sahm changed that. I don’t mind doing it all. I know it’s all done right haha
If I cook he cleans up supper and vice versa. My husband doesn’t cook often so mostly I cook and he cleans up. Then we split getting kids ready for bed, and he walks the dogs. Then usually we shower together and make lunches. Generally we split the duties for example with laundry he puts in the washer then dryer and I fold (he sucks at folding)
I’ll add lol my husband knows how to make waffles and shakes that the extent of his skill that’s why I cook and he cleans up supper.
I cook and clean up. I love to cook, and I clean up my messes as I go.
I still do with him occasionally helping.
We usually do everything together.
