Hey y’all ! I’m bored and just thinking about meeting my son, but I don’t wanna get induced. With my daughter the midwife said they totally had my due date wrong and I would have had her that day if I wouldn’t have went in that morning to get induced, so I’m hoping my son comes on his own. ( measuring a week ahead but won’t change my due date ) With that said they want me to pick a date just Incase he doesn’t. Here’s my problem, I would like to be home by thanksgiving which is early this year (22th ) Is it unrealistic to think I will ? I’m thinking of setting it for the 20th to make it home by the 22. Or should I just wait for the 24th and I’ll be 41 weeks ? Anyone have any advice? TIA 💙💙

@boys.everywhere, I’m due the 17th and I had to say two days because my placenta ruptured right after I had her so they wanted to keep an eye on me. But your right I feel like he’ll come when he’s ready and if not the 24th sounds better then the 20th just Incase something happens

@masseymomma16, that’s what I’m trying to avoid 😂 I’m due the 17th and don’t wanna get induced that early I think ima set it for the 24th and if it happens it happens

@kambam, I agree just like I can set it for the 24th but just my luck I’ll go into labor on thanksgiving 😂🙈 we’re having a family reunion for thanksgiving this year, which is why I think I’m making such a big deal about it. Some family I haven’t seen in 8 year or have met my first baby, so I’m hoping he’ll already be here.

I'm due the 20th and I'm hoping he comes by then but if not I'm waiting until after thanksgiving to be induced. With my other two I was out of the hospital the day after they were born. Really don't want to be in the hospital on thanksgiving!

If youre okay with possibly spending thanksgiving in the hospital then the 20th. I’d bet you will have baby before 41 weeks though! I’d personally let baby come on own and do the 24th. I was due 11/26 and had to think of this too!

Its a hard choice. Im all about waiting for baby readiness though. More important to me than any holiday or event.
