Anyone have advice on an epidural? I'm terrified of needles but also terrified of pain! So i need an epidural just curious how bad it hurts
Opinions & thoughts on epidurals? Im terrified too get one but even more scared too do it without it. 😬
Does the epidural hurt ? I’m really rooting to go natural , like an epidural is a last resort . I’m terrified of a needle going inside my back & I’ll cry if I have to have an emergency c-section for whatever reason
All I can keep thinking about is the needle and pain from the epidural , and I'm only 17 weeks but completely terrified already 😨
Hubby and I were talking about epidural last night and now I'm even more terrified. Trying to go au naturál if possible.. any of you mommies have experience with this? How on earth did you make it??
So uhmm.. kinda extremely terrified of having a baby now. Epidural.. labor..10-20hrs...then u can rip and get sutures and dry off your "yahoo" with a hairdryer?!? and you can't poop? catheters??? what the heck?

Mine didn't hurt. It was nothing compared to contractions. Everyone has a different experience though. I personally am glad I got it and will be getting it again.

Nothing is compared to those contractions sweethearts of the epidural is going to be the best thing in my opinion

I'm terrified of needles as well (particuraly if i cant see them) but I had no problem. If you're in active labor it can seem like a miracle. Good luck

Im scared to get one but everyone says in the moment the pain is so bad you won't care lol guess I'll see if that's true or not

I can't stand needles. Legit, full blown panic attack at the sight. At 8cms after 3 days, I begged for it and couldn't feel it.

Mine was just uncomfortable because they had me sit on the edge of the bed and bend all the way over and you have to hold still during contractions while they’re doing it. Otherwise, it just feels weird.

Mine didn’t hurt much either I just relaxed and trusted the Doctor and it helped me so much

Mine hurt equally as bad as the IV, which you have to have. Don’t worry! ❤️

It is very uncomfortable when they insert it. they had me do the same as a pp, I sat all
the way at the edge of my bed and had to bend forward as much as possible as they did it, you will feel it go it kinda like a IV. But once those meds start administering ugh it's life lol
They always did a great job on my epiidurals but because it is in your spine it can cause some after pain, I never had sciatica pain until giving birth to my oldest, and it got even worse after my second. But I have no tolerance for pain so I needed one lol and I had a c section with my second so it wasn't much of an option this time around.
My mom said she started having that sciatica pain too after she had an epidural
with me.

I'm getting it again cuz I'm not bout that Life that pain is to much and God help me if I have to have another episiotomy
