They are definitely paid to change his bum! That's awful they would wipe there butts and leave crap on there butts would they ! I would put a complaint in or at least talk to someone about it ! 😑 x

@jodiedillon3 tbh, the nursery are amazing and his teachers are all so lovely and amazing. But it did annoy me a little, but I figured they've got a bunch of other kids to tend to. It wasn't a lot on his bum, but the fact there was any there at all made me think they weren't paying much attention! The nursery manager on the other hand, I can't stand her 😫

@jo.wilcox yeah I guess your right but we both know it only take two minutes to change a bum inless you have never changed one haha alreast they are good in every other way x

That’s not kool man!! Erin’s nursery was shit like that too in fact the teachers wasn’t even aloud in the cubicle to help her ! Didn’t even wipe her face after lunch..... was shut down last year!!! Xxx

I might be the only one here but I refused to send my kids to play school an tell they was cleaning their own bottoms, I just voildnt stand the idea of other people changing my kids nappies or cleaning them down there. Might sound odd but I just thought if my kids weren't able to clean themselves up then they still need me but I was quite lucky by age 3 they all used the loo properly cleaned and washed their hands thank God! My sister is about to send her 2 year old still in nappies to play school so I understand it's each to their own but that's just me xc

@k720, my girl was trained and not in nappies when she started but she’s the kinda kid to walk around with tissue hanging out her trousers 😂 I know what you mean tho can’t trust people with your kids in that way xx

The nursery staff are paid to look after the welfare of your child as well as their learning development.

@erincharliebubba it's just a personal thing, I am also a clingy mum I love them at home all the time while their little I feel it's my job and my job only to teach them and take care of them in the early days an tell it's beyond me then you have to let go but I do get sad on the 1st day of school not excited I feel well upset like I lost my baby lol 😂 probably why I've ended up with 5 kids im just addicted to having baby's lol I don't like anyone baby sitting them either you probably all think that's a bit much but I'm just so protective I want the job done and want it done properly id be so pissed of if my child went to school and came home with 💩 all around their bottom na I couldn't put up with it 😂 xx

@erincharliebubba I know! It wasn't a lot it was only a tiny amount but the point is there was something there! They got shut down?! Jheez it must've been bad, they don't just close down schools! X

@k720 I get that! Charlie is ace on the toilet, but only if he isn't wearing anything in his bottom half. Each to their own, but I get your point about doing it yourself etc. Although with not having any friends Charlie doesn't get much interaction with kids, so preschool is mostly about getting him out sland interacting with kids like he needs rather than me just getting rid of him cos I need a break lol. I'd love for him to stay home a while longer, but the guilt breaks me of him having no little people to play with! X

@jo.wilcox, just speak to them next time he’s in & just let them know it’s not acceptable care he’s your child if you sent him in like that they’d have a duty of care to pull you up ! Or take matters further I don’t mean kick off but just have a polite word there nappy changing system clearly needs looking at !! & what if he gets a sore bottom? (Have experienced this my self) xxx

Definitely say something next time your in. It may have been a genuine rare one off mistake. But still. If It happened again I'd make a more official complaint. I don't know whether this is a private day nursery or government run one but either way. If their in nappies they should be changing them. Did you query it last week when they didn't change him at all? How many hours is he doing?

@sara-lou86 this was my point, maybe the didn't noticed and got distracted by the other kids which is understandable when they've got a bunch of hyper 2 year olds. But if it happens again I'll definitely be saying something. He's in pull ups (Not as though it makes a difference). He does 3 hour afternoons, if he doesn't need changing then that's fair enough. I'm just gonna look out over the next week and see what happens. Hopefully it's just a one iff

We have 2yr funded children who do 8-11 & they have scheduled nappy change time like everyone else. Would only be the once (unless they needed another change) but was always changed.
