Bitch in the back purely for how she was acting. Respect your mom and your SO's mother's. If I ever have a son and his gfs/wife whatever acts like that, bitch gonna get hit real fast. My MIL always has me sit in front now because she likes sitting with the baby and my bf tells me to sit upfront but I always ask where she wants to sit.
My MIL and I usually get stuck in the back and my Father in law in the front. If it’s just my MIL visiting, I give her the front so she can sit with her son. After all, she only sees her son once in a while.
I always ride in the back if we are in this situation even though she insists for me to be in front. I just think it’s respectful
I dont understand the big deal about being in either place. I've always sat in the front when my husband drives. But if someone asked if the could ride up front I'd let them I wouldn't care. But the way they all acted was stupid and pathetic! The mom was annoying af the guy was annoying af and the girl in the back was just childish! Like why even make it a huge deal. It's a fucking car?! They were all gonna get to the same place at the same damn time. It's not like the back seat is any more/less comfy then the back. It was a stupid thing to fight over honestly.
Respect your elders and let them sit where they want.
Oddly, when my mom is in the car she rides in the back, and I sit up front. If I’m in the car with my husband and his mom, I’ll ride in the back. The difference? His mom likes riding up front, my mom doesn’t, and I don’t care one way or the other. Lol.
Most of the time my mil makes me ride in the front even tho I tell her to. I feel like it’s more respectful to at least offer her the front even tho I know she’s gonna refuse 99% of the time.
@wafflez, In my opinion I feel like if it’s our vehicle we should be up front together not to mention I get sick riding in the back
Why does it even matter?. I stopped caring who got to sit in the front seat by the time I was 7 😂.
I've always automatically thought sitting in the back seat when their parent or family member was in the car was just the correct thing to do 🤷♀️

Having some pretty intense constant lower back pain and maybe super light contractions. But can't tell because the back pain is way over powering contractions so I'm walking around my room to see if they get worse.
