The house is very special to he because it was her fathers house and he sold it to my stepdads brother for her before he passed.

@mrs.letty.luna i think with us being here she'll grow some balls. She needs somebody to tell her what to do, how to fix the problem. I told her last nigjt she needs to tell my stepdad to either quit his shit or get out. She agreed. She doesnt wanna lose the house cuz its in my stepdads brothers name, but im like 99% sure that my uncle would let my mom keep it since he knows that my stepdad doesnt pay shit around here

@spookylyn we didnt want to come back here but it was the only choice we had, our old landlord sold her house and was moving into our apartment and places for rent havent been easy to find. Everyones Selling nobodys renting anymore around the area

I already told my mom she needs to change her direct deposit into her solo checking account and change the pin on her debit card so he cant steal it and take money out. Idgaf if he gets mad my mom works hard for her damn money and he doesnt need to take hers and blow it. If he wants to fuck himself fine but hes not taking my mom with him. If she would kick him out we'd stay here forever if we had to to help her. Shes starting to realize. Shes pissed that she has to borrow money from a single income family of 6. To pay bills because of him.

@spookylyn weve only been here a week we havent even come up with an agreed amount cuz this is only supposed to be temporary until we find another place. My mom wants us to save up and doesnt want to charge us anything my stepdad wants us to give him money. Problem is my stepdad Will blow it instead of paying bills. @mrs.letty.luna right. My stepdad already owes me $700 he borrowed 600 for new tires on his jeep then borrowed $100 to pay off a bill. Now add another $200 for the electric bill and probably more when i pay off the rest of the bills for them. I already told my mom to just kick him out. Its been 10+ years of this shit. First it was drugs, now its gambling idk how she deals with it. All hes doing is taking everything she worked to get, hes dead weight and she needs to drop him. He hasnt changed since his using days hes probably blowing more money now than he was before. Itd honestly be better for her to leave him and be alone vs having him here and sucking the life out of her

Wow explain to your mom how your not going to bail them out and have him notarize a i.o.u to you after it hits an amount take him to court you are not suppose to be takingimg care of you mom when she has him

@penelope127 thats the issue, they can afford it but my stepdad gambles all the money away and lies to my mom about whats been paid. Their mortgage is the same as what i paid in rent. We had all the same bills except i paid water. my stepdad has a crazy car payment that costs more than their rent but refuses to refinance or trade in. My mom makes $16 an hour and my stepdad makes over $20. My fiance only made $13/hr and we have 4 kids and our bills managed to get paid on time. Its my damn stepdad thats doing this and idk why my mom still trusts him.

Yeah that’s crazy. If they can’t afford the cable, they can at least drop that to put that money elsewhere.
