At what age should you kid know their colors & numbers?
My daughter has been able to identify all colors for about a month now.
We are working on identifying numbers and letters now, so she can identify some. I want her to be able to identify and understand the concept of numbers and letters rather than just saying them or singing them.
My daughter can count to 3 and she can distinguish red, blue, yellow, green, and purple. She can say blue and green. She’s been able to do that for 2-3 months?
By 2 my daughter knew all her colors and numbers up to 13. Some videos on YouTube and learning apps helped her alot
My ds could count to 20, say his ABCs and knew all of the animal sounds at 2. He’s almost 2.5 now and every time I ask what color something is, he says Blue. He’ll get it eventually, lol.
All kids are different, my son knows his colors you can ask him what color is his shirt and he will reply, he knows his number up to 15, knows his shapes he can tell you what a hexagon also he can tell you his fruits and animals. Can tell you the difference between an airplane and helicopter, he knows which is a cop, fire truck and ambulance. He learned from YouTube, his grandparents and me. I been on him about teaching him
Every child learns at different levels so in my opinion I dont think its a certain age you still have some school aged kids that struggle with their numbers and colors.
