@macismommie, it’s hard not too with all these moms decking out their nurseries like a small business boutique. 💁🏻‍♀️ not like my lil babe will care or even know whether it’s brand new or second hand. I sure didn’t. If anything I was happy to rep my brothers old stuff. Babes are resilient.

@kmsespy, Ikr!!!! Me too. Cause I’m not doing the pregnancy thing anymore after this lil guy lol. Anything to help make this 2nd time easier and better with a budget better than the 1st lol even tho I b feeling like a loser cause I’m spending more wisely lol.

@macismommie, that’s what I hear- buy things that can double in their worth. Reuse what you can and spend money on the stroller that doubles as a carrier. 🙌 you doing it right girl! Love it and I’m learning so much from other moms.

@kmsespy, yes!!!! My daughter’s old crib I could’ve turned it into a toddler bed but my mom bought her one so imma just use her old crib for my baby boy and use it for later. Cause I’m a minute she’s gonna b in a twin bed. And imma use her old stroller that we never used. It’s the perfect shade of grey too. 😍😍😍😍 only thing I gotta get it out of storage. Lol. Finding the right car seat is my trouble. Lol.

@macismommie, exactly. People love to buy baby stuff, so when you need things often times it’s cheaper just to ask around and see what comes up.

I wouldn’t worry about buying anything too early as much as it may give some peace of mind, often times I feel it’s a waste of money that could come in handy later.

Buy the good brands in the things that matter, like strollers and cribs.

@babymamaof2, omg!!! U can say that again. I have a 3yr old girl and I’m carrying a boy. Lol. So Ik exactly what u mean. I said I was gonna use the blankets she had that I still have and just keep them at home cause some are neutral and use the girly ones as burping cloths to keep from over buying on the blankets n cloths lol.

I haven’t even gotten one thing and I’m almost into my third trimester. 💁🏻‍♀️ whatevs. Not sure it even matters till I know what I got and have after my baby shower.

Stocking up on diapers is like the best thing!!! I didn’t do that while I was pregnant but I started after he was born. It’s super nice not worrying about buying diapers every month. Just putting that out there. I wish someone would’ve told me it would be super easier.

im def getting velcro swaddles. they were a lifesaver with my daughter!

but i feel tge same way 😖😂 unless im having a boy.. i guess gotta get more boyish things
