Small little rant here:
So my bf thinks it’s okay to drink 2 to 3 beers before he leaves work everyday, and then drinks about 3 more or more, when he gets home. I have repeatedly asked him to chill with the drinking especially since he’s drinking and driving. Being an emt I have seen no positive of drinking and driving. Not to mention he was in a wreck before while drinking and driving ( in his younger days). He’s gets mad and says I’m just nagging about it. But I honestly think this is an issue!
I told him this time he’s going to lose more than blood and a few broken bones if he’s keeps it up
@amyrachellem, we have one daughter( not his biological) and another on the way! We’ve been together for a year and a half.
All excuses. Avoiding the root of the problem. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemies. Its a nightmare being the SO to an alcoholic. Do u have children together already? How long have you been together?
@amyrachellem, he’s never been to A.A he uses the excuse of I’m Mexican we drink a lot. I do people but he honestly doesn’t think it’s an issue!
My husband is unfortunately a recovering alchoholic, the recovery part I use loosely because he still drinks when he gets to stressed, well lately rather than drinking hes substituting with food. They get angry and very defensive when you do confront them because step 1) admitting there is an issue. I am so sorry you are going through this!! Its so hard...has he ever been to A.A. or does he know anyone who has that you could contact for support?.
@deejones i'm so sorry!! I'm not in your situation but you deserve better than that.

Yeah it's a issue if he's doing that right before going to work
@beth.hayes64 & @kacie.thayer1880, I told him if he’s not addicted he could go a week without a beer. We currently aren’t speaking
Definitely needs help since he knows you have an issue with it. Might very well be an addiction.
Alcoholics don't think they have an issue. And what's worse is they go through withdrawal if they don't have the alcohol in their system. He needs to see a professional.
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Ok, so my friend is wanting to get pregnant but..... Her fiancé does not want kids, at lease for another 3-5 years he said... so she came up with the idea to have me pee on a stick for her and show it to him so that he’ll be comfortable with not wearing a condom and finishing in her.. basically the whole idea is to make him think she’s pregnant already...... so I do this favor for her or should I tell my girl to chill?
He and my husband are friends through us and he’s going to invite him over...
I need help!!! Something is wrong with my dog and I have no money or job to take him to the vet. I think hes dying idk
Make your own breakfast!
At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
@deejones not to get to personal on a public forum, if you would like to talk more just for support or anything else I am here, I know difficult it is the deal with it while pregnant. Went through it with our first together. And if your on fb we can do messenger for a more private place if you want. If you've noticed its been getting worse over time it may be time for you to confront him on a more serious level and hopefully hes willing to listen.
