I understand that's how divorce happens because you feel like you're left out of the family when you should be included and your husband should be sticking up for you and his family I felt like my ex-husband didn't want to be involved but he was the center of the attention because after all it's his immediate family not saying you're going to get a divorce behind this but it's not equal in that sucks

Try and sit down with them and explain to them that it’s wrong to tell a child he needs to go on a diet. Let them know how it makes you feel.

@sboolay, yes they are trying to change their eating habits because my father in law and mother in law have diabetes. I’m fine with them to change their ways at eating but when it comes to my son he eats what I eat or make to eat. She’s just constantly saying he needs to go on a diet

ThTs so stupid!! My daughter just turned 4 and is 40 pounds which is actually low for her height her doctor said. I have a giant lol. Don’t let her say anything!! Every kid goes thro a stage of wanting to snack. My child does.

When I work out consistently and cut a lot of things out of my diet I do it for my daughters as well. Example, I don’t buy chips and chocolate anymore, I buy fruits. Instead of making something fried I make something baked. Limit regular salt to sea salt. I’m not so much watching my calories or my kids calorie intake but more what we eat. Could it be that they are trying to change their way of eating and are maybe coming off in a wrong way?

@jmedina, he usually eats what I eat. Oatmeal granola bars he eats fruits and chips and occasionally he will have fruit snacks or lunchables

@ryans_mommy14 girl at my daughters 4 year physical she was 41 lbs and the dr said that is like totally normal. I cook most her meals shes a kid so she gets candy or whatever but most of it is good! Dont worry about your sons weight worry about you MIL being crazy!

Well healthy snacks are good for you whether or not you need to lose weight so at least they won’t go to waste! I wish my relatives would buy healthy snacks, they bring crap that I just toss when they leave.
