My 6day old newborn gets swaddled and sleeps in bassinet. During her time sleeping she manages to roll over on her side! I don’t know if or how I should or could prevent this ??

If she can roll over on her own, it’s okay.

No it's really not ok for a newborn to sleep on their side... They could completely roll over onto their belly and not be able to roll back. Maybe try a halo swaddle sack, those don't allow for much arm movement which makes it harder for them to roll. My little did the same thing so I moved him to an on the bed bassinet (a snuggle nest) and that way I can keep an eye on him all night and he doesn't roll as easy. Your little may just be a bit small yet for the bassinet like mine was.

Nope, it’s worse to swaddle them once they can roll because they can get stuck like that. It is okay once they can do it on their own. Talk to your pediatrician for more information for your specific situation.

My son did that. So now I only light swaddle. His arms are out cause he hates being swaddled. He hasn’t rolled since.
