So I got my appointment for the more define ultrasound in Syracuse NY which is a 45min ride my boyfriend can’t come with cause his class start that day. So I asked my mom and aunt to come with me, I’m telling them the situation about the baby and what I’m going through they immediately think I’m not feeding myself or the baby!!! I’m not no I do eat everything the baby not retaining the weight though!! They ohh well you home cooking no good meals than, come over here we’ll feed you!!! Once I got home I told my boyfriend like I can go by myself I don’t want that type of energy around me when I go to the doctors. Am I wrong for not wanting them to come now??

You’re not wrong for not wanting them to go, it’s your appointment and you can have whomever there that you want. I do think they were just trying to be helpful from the way I’m reading it tho with trying to feed you. They don’t know what’s wrong, so the immediate thought was probably “omg we need to feed her and the baby,” but not maliciously.

Definitely NOT wrong of you. You don’t want any stress when you’re going to your appointment and I totally understand when you say you don’t want that kind of energy around you.
Doctor said that he would like me to get checked out when I go on vacation (gonna visit my SO family) but I said no bc I didn’t want his family around me when I went to the appointment. So trust me when I tell you it’s okay not to want them there. Your appointment, your baby, your choice.

@queenmeeks, I told them I eat all day, I be waiting to cry cause all the food be gone 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ 🤷🏾♀️ lol I told them what’s wrong and what the doctor told me 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ but yea even if they do feed me it’s not gonna make a difference you know, I feel like it’s “ oh we feed you and that’s when the baby gonna grow” that’s what I’m thinking they thinking

Girl don't worry about what they are sayin. No one knows your situation better than you.. however, I don't think they are being mean by trying to feed you. They just don't understand buy you definitely don't need negative energy around you at this point. If it's gonna cause you more stress to bring them then don't. It would be better to go alone.

Samething happend to me i was 30 wks my baby was the weight and size of a 27wk baby turns out i had preeclampsia and had to deliver at 30wks and 6 days she was 2lbs and 4oz but she doen good now the placenta wasnt doen its job

Some women just have small babies, that doesn't mean they are unhealthy. 🤷 I have small babies. First one came at 38 weeks, 5lb 13oz. Second one came almost 2 months early, 4lb 13oz. It just happens like that sometimes, and it's not because of anything you are doing. Don't worry yourself over this unless your doctor shows concern. And tell the family to calm down, you have a doctor that you trust.
