Girls....I'm so confused, so lastnight brad was bathing Olivia and I went in there to ask him something and Olivia had bubbles on her hand and ate them...she started crying as she choked abit on them and started really crying so i took over bathing but she just wanted to get out while really crying so i got her out then tonight as I've gone to put her in the bath she started SCREAMING wouldn't go in her bath seat kept trying to get out so I tried sitting her on her own in the water but nope really really crying, the cry she does when she's really hurt. It's asif she's traumatised of the bath like somethings happened in there but nothing ever has it only started lastnight after the bubbles🤷‍♀️my question is, is this a phase or what. I don't want bath times to be like this as she loves it normally and it's the favourite part of her day 😂

Sorry for the whole story🤦‍♀️

Idk if it's directly related. But Charlie slipped in the bath one time and choked. Ever since then it's a battle to get him in the shower and he will only go in the bath if he can stand up with the water to his knees. Can't get him to sit in the bath for the life of me anymore and he screams as soon as you start to wash him

I’ve had similar, my OH was rinsing her hair once and basically poured the water on her hair and it went all in her face and the next time she screamed the house down and I ended up getting in with her to calm her down and then the next time I just reassured her and sang and was just being silly with her to distract her and then she was back to loving bath time☺️ xx

She may be put off by the bubble episode but if you continue to bath her as usual, even if you have to keep it short. Soft tones as you talk to reassure her and hopefully she'll move past it.

Max always loved baths until one day Daddy was bathing and tipped a jug of water over him. (He was like 'Morgan loves that' 🙈). He screamed and hated baths for a while after that. He did start liking them again though.

This happened to a friend. Her boy loved baths until her fil sprayed saline up his nose while in the bath It put him off completely for over a year! I would preserve and probably get in with her to show her it’s ok with no bubbles just water x

@sara-lou86 seems like it's always the men's fault😂. Seems like it was the bubbles but I'll try what I can. Thankyou

It was probably the bubble incident that has scared her but she will come round with reassurance x

Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning

Baby won't bear weight on leg

Baby won't bear weight on leg I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as baby's often do). I tried a few more times over the next 30 minutes and she still won't put any weight on it. I had a meeting (I work from home), so I took her upstairs to my husband. She is now playing with her siblings and happy, but he text me (from upstairs) and says she still won't put weight on it. She is just sitting there playing.
