I've always had provlems with stubborn community midwives. Get yourself a new midwife or ask to see a consultant. X

we dont have midwifes here so i cant help you with that... but my last baby was supposed to be really huge and they talked already about starting birth at 38 weeks and what not... never happened cause she didn't get as big as expected, like she was supposed to be over 4,5kg, but at birth she she was 3,5kg and all was fine and normal birth... but point is, they would have started it as early as 38 weeks already because of size... here they are very worried about size here... I don't know if you maybe can go to the hospital or a doc and ask them??? but deffinetly change her... she needs feedback and all... and you have had big babies, so they should take you serious about it and take care of your wishes and feelings on the matter... good luck :)

Ive never had what you had but my midwife was crap! Most the time she weren’t there so I saw different ones some were great and some just were doin their job 😑

If I was you I’d go just go around her and phone up the hospital, I did when I was told I needed an emergency scan due to no growth in 2 weeks my midwife was waiting till the following week to book 🤦🏻‍♀️ pfft I weren’t waiting I just phoned the hospital myself when I got home and got booked in for the following day, they had no issue with it.

Phone them up especially if your baby ain’t moving like they usually do, just totally by pass ya midwife hun xx

I’m 31 weeks Friday my midwife not measured me or done baby heart beat I change her now. So hoping my new one nice lol

Thanks lady's. I'l be ringing up my local hospital today to try see a new midwife. Fingers crossed I get somewhere. Tbh never had this from any midwifes. So annoying. I know a sweep helps put me in labour as it has done with my last 2 baby's but just don't get why she's bein such a bitch and trying to make me wait 😪. So glad this is my last pregnancy it's not been an easy one xx

Try taking a evening primrose oil tablet vaginally, I done this my waters broke later that night, I was advised to do it by my midwife as my waters have never gone naturally before I put it down to the evening primrose oil she said it could save me needing a sweep and she was right! Just amazing there's no harm in trying it the midwifes at the hospital also told me they think it's amazing and alot of mum's swear by it xx
