So I seen some text messages in my Fiance phone that bothered me but he just said he was joking about it.
@mother_of_girls, SMH. Today it’s hahaha I was joking and tomorrow it might be him calling you or another black person that out of anger. Nip that shit now. If he can’t understand why you are so upset then he doesn’t need to be a fiancée.
Cause girl when he started laughing I saw myself punching him dead in his jaw but I didn't want our kids to see it
@ljsmommy22 yes we're definitely gonna have a talk tonight. I calmed down a little I'm not gonna yell or anything.
I would try to tell him that we need to have a serious talk and discuss what is not okay in the relationship. I'd say if you can't figure that out I don't know if I should stay I wouldn't want my kids to be around that
@fakoffyeh oh for sure.I'm looking at things differently now Because if I hadn't seen the messages he would have kept saying it.
@fakoffyeh i know i tried to explain how that word was offensive to me and he kept brushing it off saying he didn't mean it we always joke like that.
@ljsmommy22 that's what I said he's like your wrong i shouldn't have said it. I probably was high anyways. Still kinda brushing it off so I just walked away.
Yea no not okay would he be okay with his friend calling his kids nigger??!
He's like he called me one first. I'm like how do you even feel comfortable saying it knowing you have kids that are half black.
That's wild. He needs to realize that just because it's his friend it's not a funny word. And that's disrespectful to you.
Nahhh I'd be bothered too. I'm also in an interracial relationship too. I'd put my foot so far up his butt lol.
So I'm in a interracial relationship. So the messages were between him and his friend they were calling each other Nigger and I was really bothered but he just laughed it off
🤦 not okay, ever... Hopefully now that he understands how deeply offensive that language is to you, he won't speak like that again. Hopefully him "brushing it off" was out of embarrassment for having to be told something that everyone should know by this point. Regardless, hope your talk went well and that he "gets it" now.
