FTM here ‼ 5 days until my scheduled induction!! 40 weeks 2 days & I have yet to experience a real contraction?!

@brianamestichelli, my due date is August 30th but I’m having a planned C section on the 24th!

@j.smith11745, that’s reassuring for me !! I’ve heard pitocin is intense. I am only dilated 1-2 cm when I got swept last week🙁

@brianamestichelli, yea I know me either but too then that was a big baby lol ... this baby is suppose to be bigger than my first so I guess I’ll see! But I hope you can do natural like u want 😍❤️

@jerseymomx2, even 8lb doesn’t seem ‘too big’ to me !! I guess I’ll just have to wait and see, I truly have tried everything natural

And all my babies were a little over 7lbs.

I had to be induced with all 3 of my children. Induction went fine. Had all my babies within 8 hrs of being induced. I think induction made the contractions a lot worse but it's all worth it ! Lol.

I didn’t have any type of labor signs with my first , he never even dropped he was “too big” he was born 8lbs 12oz ... I was induced and would only dilate too 4cm so I ended up getting a C section ... but then someone like my sister went through the same exact thing and she was induced && she had her baby naturally! So it all depends ❤️ everyone is different!

@newlyironman, right! my doctors had to in shock when they said “she’s going to be a biggg baby”... I said okay how much do you predict she is now . They measured my stomach with the tape and touched my stomach to feel for her and they guessed last Thursday she’s 6.5 lbs !! I was thinking like that’s maybe below average ?? They just made me feel like she would possibly not fit in my pelvic canal

Trust me when I say this. When your body begins to labor and it will, there will be no denying it. With my other 2 pregnancies they were a dream. No preterm contractions, braxton hicks, no pregnancy symptoms. But when it came time, I knew and it was no joke. Everyone although is different. You may not have noticeable contractions and baby be out in a couple of pushes. Or not. Either way, just remain calm and it will be worth it when you hold your little one.

That's not big at all. My 1st was 10lb 3oz

@newlyironman, I’ve heard a few people say they didn’t get any contractions until true labor too. The doctors say they think she’s going to be a big baby. There guess is 7lbs, which I thought was pretty average.. but makes me worry that she’s too big to engage !

@brianamestichelli sounds like she's pressing down. I had some bh but didn't get contractions until labor

@newlyironman, i am and when I do I usually get ‘lightening crotch’ especially when I go on walks ! Good sign of her emerging into position??

I was having contractions with my first pregnancy for a couple weeks that i couldnt even feel. I didn’t start feeling them until about 2 hours after my water broke.

@caseyann19, I went to L&D at about 35 weeks because I thought she decreased in movement. Of course right when I got there she starts kicking away. But the nurse did the exact same to me! I apparently was contracting every 10 min but I didn’t feel it.

@brianamestichelli, I was having contractions and didn’t even know it. I had to have an NST twice a week every week and I was there doing it one day and my nurse came over and was like “do you feel those” and I was like “feel what??” I was so confused and she said “honey you’re having contractions” turned out I was having them and was dilated to 2 and never knew about any of it 😂😂 I think you’ll do fine during your induction I was worried about not being able to do it either but once they started the meds my body started doing what it was supposed to and I’m sure yours will too!
