I would check for a tongue tie while you're there.

@learningmom18 The laser is amazing! My son had his tongue tie corrected with the laser and it was so fast. No open would, and baby can eat as soon as its over.

@learningmom18, a lot of people said that with the scissors it ended up coming back again.

Talk to your pedi about it ASAP since it’s causing him issues and get it fixed with laser not scissors

Yes it is. My daughter has one

Okay because he’s had latch issues he still kinda does and makes clicking noise when he eats and his top lip is tucked in when he eats. I also have to hold him on me when he eats or he’ll lose his latch. I never really noticed that these weren’t normal

Everyone has a frenulum between their upper lip and gums. If this is a lip tie, it doesn't look like a very severe one. My son's upper lip couldn't be lifted at all. It was tied all the way to the bottom of the gums and there was no give.
